It’s been a while since I had finished it, but I had not taken the time to photograph it properly.

Let me present you as a preview of the Rambouillet show’s the first portrait of “Bayàe”. The format is square 60 cm x 60 cm on a frame called “3D”, which gives a fairly modern aspect to the painting. It shall normally be followed by 3 other portraits.

Let the Sun shine

With this watercolor, I wanted to move towards more spontaneity in the movement, but without abandoning realism that is actually my trademark. So what better than to take a very sunny subject. The result is different from what I usually do, but I am still quite happy.

Hunting lioness Painting

Here is the finished painting of the approching Lioness.

"Aluna" - Oil on canvas

Since last time, I added the foregrounds : more sharpen near the lioness with high grass hiding, then blurry closer in order to have a depht sensation. The result is photographic like , as I wanted.

For your information, I tested a new way to take pictures with two big spots from each side of the painting. I took the picture with a long time shot and a colorimetric adjustment in photoshop. I’m pretty satisfied with the results of the colors.

So, we have to give her a name. As I did for the others African paintings, I would like to give her an african name with a meaning.

- “Kichaka” : bush, thicket in Swahili

Change of atmosphere, with this new painting. This is an oil painting depicting a couple of mallard ducks.
