Description
“Jaws” – Oil Painting – Nile Crocodile
The Nile Crocodile is an impressive animal. Most often immobile for long hours in stagnant water or on land, it can strike and catch its prey in a tenth of a second.
Once caught, the crocodile dives to the bottom of the river and can stay at the bottom for several days to soften the flesh of its victim. A valve at the bottom of its mouth closes and prevents it from drowning itself.
A satiated crocodile can live without feeding for up to 1 year, or even 2 for the oldest. The migration period of the wildebeest and zebras in Kenya then becomes once a year, a veritable feast.
About the Artist:
Stephan Alsac is a hyper-realistic contemporary painter. His paintings, most often oil paintings, represent animals with an astonishing realism close to photography. The idea here is not to reproduce a photo, but to sublimate the animal and make it “more real than nature”.
You want to immortalize a moment, a memory of Safari, order an Original Painting of the size that suits you and in the style of painting that you like.
Contact Stephan Alsac to discuss your painting project with him. He will define with you the animal subject meeting your expectations which will sublimate your interior.
