“Razzle Dazzle” – Oil Painting – The Great Zebra Migration
Animal Artist Stephan Alsac presents here his latest painting: an oil painting representing the Great Migration of zebras in Kenya. It is a large painting, 1.50 m long, in a hyper-realistic figurative style.
“Razzle Dazzle” is an English term to describe a noisy and agitated situation that creates a feeling of confusion.
This term was also used to describe a disruptive camouflage used on the US ships of the First World War. This camouflage was based on alternating oblique and very contrasting lines and was inspired by the natural camouflage of zebras.
The purpose of this camo was not to hide the vessel, but to hinder the identification of the vessel and the estimation of its speed and course. To adjust the shot, the submarines used a rangefinder, which then became inoperative on contrasting patterns and without an understandable structure. The observer struggles to determine if he sees the bow or the stern, and it is difficult for him to tell if the ship is approaching or moving away.
About the Artist:
Stephan Alsac is a hyper-realistic contemporary animal painter. His paintings, most often oil paintings, represent animals with an astonishing realism close to photography. The idea here is not to reproduce a photo, but to sublimate the animal and make it “more real than nature”.

Livraisons
Votre commande est expédiée en général dans la semaine et vous est livrée selon le type de livraison que vous choisissez. Vous avez la possibilité de choisir 4 types de livraisons :- Point Relais : c'est le mode le plus économique, et le plus lent : votre commande vous est livrée dans le point Relais le plus proche de chez vous. Vous pouvez choisir le point relais, lors de votre commande, une fois que vous aurez renseigné votre adresse de livraison.
- Envoi standard : il s'agit d'un envoi par voie postale normale, par exemple : Colissimo pour la France. En règle général il faut compter 3-4 jours à partir de l’expédition de la commande.
- Envoi Premium : c'est le mode le plus sécurisé et le plus rapide. il s'agit d'un envoi par transporteur style UPS, Fedex, DHL en fonction de votre adresse de livraison, il faut compter 1 à 2 jours de livraison à partir du jour de l’expédition. Nous recommandons ce mode pour les originaux, les digigraphies et les photographies.

Retour et droit de rétractation
- Vous avez 15 jours pour changer d'avis à partir de la date de livraison. Prenez contact avec Stéphane Alsac au 06 30 31 04 70 pour arranger le retour de votre commande dans les meilleures conditions.
- En cas de problème lors de la livraison ( casse ou autre), si vous avez le moindre soupçon à la vue d'un emballage abîmé, il vaut mieux refuser le colis que d’émettre des réserves. Contactez immédiatement Stéphane Alsac au 06 30 31 04 70.
- Si vous constater une casse après avoir accepté et ouvert le colis, n’hésitez pas non plus à nous contacter, nous trouverons une solution.
