Conservation
« Painting the living is already taking a stand for it. »
— Stéphane Alsac
Commitment
Art as a bridge between two worlds
For Stéphane Alsac, painting is an act of presence. Each work is an intimate confrontation between the viewer and the living world — an invitation to recognise the fragility of what surrounds us, to see what we risk losing, and what still remains to be protected.
Through field expeditions, international exhibitions and partnerships with conservation organisations, Stéphane combines the power of the image with concrete on-the-ground action. By acquiring an original work or an art edition, each collector becomes a direct contributor to these safeguarding programmes.

In the Field
Beyond the painting, a real presence
Field travel is not for Stéphane a simple collection of visual references. It is an immersion in the realities his works seek to convey — local communities, children from savannah schools, communities that coexist with wildlife.
In Kenya, Central Africa, Australia — each journey deepens commitment and nurtures partnerships with organisations working on the ground.
