“Pembe” means “Horn” in Swahili.

The original painting is an oil painting on canvas. It is part of the “African Sepias” collection.

From the original work, 25 reproductions on canvases are made, called “Digigraphie” + 3 special artists’ proofs. Digigraphies are canvas prints Giclees using a digital process certified by Epson. They are numbered and signed by hand by the Artist and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. The quality of reproduction, the detail of the brush stroke and the colors are stunning.

About the Artist:

Stephan Alsac is a hyper-realistic contemporary painter. His paintings, most often oil paintings, represent animals with an astonishing realism close to photography. The idea here is not to reproduce a photo, but to sublimate the animal and make it “truer than life”.

You want to immortalize a moment, a souvenir from Safari, commission an Original Painting of the size that suits you and in the style of painting that you like.

Contact Stephan Alsac to discuss your painting project with him. He will define with you the animal subject answering your expectations which will sublimate your interior.

  • Authenticated: numbered, signed by the artist, marked with the relief stamp and accompanied by its certificate.
  • The concept of limited series is defined by three criteria freely determined by the Artist:
  • The number of proofs reproduced
  • The format of the reproduction of the work
  • The support on which it is printed.
I chose Digigraphie as a method of reproducing my paintings, because it guarantees me a high quality of printing.I am very demanding about the colors and details that I put on my paintings; it is therefore logical for me to find the same requirements in my prints.Digigraphie offers an almost perfect match of color, detail and incomparable finesse. I find my "Artist Touch" there.I have been offering digigraphies for over 15 years and they have not suffered any outrage over time; that's why, I guarantee them for life.I am as proud of my digigraphies as I am of my originals.Stephan Alsac
